Value : £1million + Sutton housing contract

We had over 65 properties to work on for the Sutton housing project ranging from Soffit, fascia & guttering replacement to new roof installations. The contract lasted around 10 months, it was a carefully drawn up program and detailed schedule of works. We were given 5 working days for each new roof installation, all works were completed within if not before the allocated time frame.

 

We made a great relationship with the Director of the company due to our attention to detail and reliability, this led to us receiving a further two contracts which were for the Reading Borough council and the Chippenham housing contract. Our works for the Reading Borough council contract consisted of 30 properties to which we were completing gable extensions to new roof installations. We have spoken with both the Director of the company and the Quality surveyor and they are both happy to give us references.

Challenges: The age of properties in Surrey, especially in towns like Godalming and Farnham, can present challenges for roofers. Many homes have older, traditional roofs that may require more extensive work to meet modern standards. Additionally, the lush, wooded environment can lead to a build-up of moss, which can weaken tiles and affect roofing lifespan.
